About 6 years ago I purchased my first camera -- a used Nikon D7200, and I'm happy to say that it's been well-used ever since. It has become my companion on hikes, my telescope to see the moon, my microscope to peer at mosses and bugs, my visual journal, and my tool for sharing with others what I believe is beautiful and worth appreciating. ​

Most of my portfolio centers around landscape and nature photography. It's where I've felt most connected to both myself and the Earth, and it's conveniently provided me with an infinite number of easy-going subjects, like a bird or a frog, to practice my skills on without fear of judgement.
My goal for 2025 is to work more with people -- to capture emotion, interactions, achievements, quirks -- to put my evolving skills to use in a way that celebrates life and the wonderful intricacies that make us all unique. ​
